The Gorilla Blues

A week ago I posted some animal drawings that pertained to a certain all engulfing project. So here are some more animal drawings from the same project. As you all probably noticed, the previous boards from last week had gorillas that were blue. Why were they blue, you ask? Are they feeling blue? Have they eaten something they shouldn't have? The answer is simple, I wanted a color code to go through the project, so that it would be easier to understand which species formed the basis of the characters I have created. In this case, brown eagles and turquois fish. So with no further ado, here are some more animal sketches.

Super Massive Black Hole

I have a class. It's called Illustrative Drawing. It's about doing concept art. However this is not the truth. The truth is, it's not a class at at all. What it really is is a super massive black hole in which everything revolves around and gets sucked into: homework, sleep, time, joy, your life, your friends, your sanity and your dignity. Nevertheless it has been valuable and I feel more confident now in my drawing because of it (when it comes to sketching) than I ever was before I took this black hole, or "class".

Here are some more or less finished boards, with probably more to come. It's for homebaked story I call "A World Torn".
